We have news that we have been agonizing telling you for a few weeks now.
I
had to go away to Hawaii to my son's wedding and then right away off to
the doll show
in Denver Colorado. We decided to wait until I got back so the girls
holding things up at the store did not have to take time to talk about
it as it has been a very emotional time for us here at MacPherson's.
As
many of you are aware Doll Dreams decided to close down the retail side
of their business and leave the sales up to
their 4 dealers which included us at MacPherson Arts & Crafts.
After they closed down the retail we were gearing up to become much
busier ... however a few things have changed along the journey. One is
that the factories producing the kits made it clear they did not want to
produce and ship less than 20 of each mold at one time. This made it
problematic for the North American territory as it was too much to
expect it to be a "shared" region and MacPherson Arts & Crafts
was chosen to be cut off for that reason. They decided that
Irresistables will be the only North American dealer.
Although
we are feeling very sad (well devastated to be honest) about this...we
do understand the business side of it and we are helpless to change this
decision. We do remain with some stock and we are
going to evaluate what we do have and slowly shut down ONLY THE LITTLE DREAMS COLLECTION kits what is no longer
available in stock here in our store or warehouse. ALL OTHER KITS ARE AVAILABLE, IN STOCK AND WILL SHIP AS ALWAYS.
ALL OTHER BUSINESS WILL CONTINUE AS USUAL AND OUR BUSINESS WILL CONTINUE TO GROW WITH EXCITING NEW PRODUCTS & KITS IN FUTURE:o)
You
may notice many Doll Dreams kits are no longer listed on our web-site.
We did purchase quite a few kits and extra supplies just before we
received the news so we have some odds and ends of parts
(heads, limbs and bodies) besides complete kits so we will list those
once we can get it all counted and inspected.
Thank
you so much for your understanding and if any product or pre-order is
owed we will be happy to refund or use as a credit towards something
else.
We will be in touch with each of you with a pending order that cannot be fulfilled on an individual basis.
